Join Tchia on her tropical open-world adventure as she sets off to rescue her father from the cruel tyrant, Meavora. The music is really good, often giving me Lion King vibes. It finishes up strong with a memorable ending. It ends up being one of the strong points of the game. The story goes in some dark places compared to the atmosphere the islands portray. From game studio Awaceb, Tchia is a wonderfully crafted exploration platformer and a heartfelt celebration of New Caledonia culture. There is a stamina bar for this so you can’t spam it. But the birds are awesome because you can simply take to the sky and fly quickly over tall mountains or dense forests. You are able to possess every animal you find in this game, from birds to boars to fish to crickets. There is a little combat but what is there is sporadic and basic.īy far my favorite aspect of this game is possessing animals, specifically the birds. ![]() There are a few races to complete and shooting challenges but for the most part the game is simply traveling and exploring the islands. Take Tchia on a heartfelt adventure and meet a diverse cast of characters inspired by New Caledonian cultures. That’s what most of this game entails although many of the icons are simply items to grab. What is Tchia Take control of any animal or object in a tropical open-world adventure Climb, glide, swim and sail around a vast and beautiful archipelago inspired by New Caledonia in this physics-driven adventure game. I love exploring worlds and checking icons off my map. Tchia is open world and like many of those games there are spots that once you get to open up more objectives for you to find and complete. The game does a great job of giving you the island feel. In this game you play as a little girl who ends up exploring a few islands. Tchia will also be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. On March 21, 2023, the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. From being able to climb anything, to paragliding, to the use of a stamina bar that works just like Zelda. Despite some delays, the game has quickly established itself in the indie video games scene, garnering increasingly positive feedback and enduring trust from players, including mine. It reminds me of Breath of the Wild lite, as far as the world and exploration part of it. This little trick can be extremely useful, especially when you upgrade the spirit meter.Tchia starts off slow before the world begins to open up. To overcome this problem, simply transform into a bird and fly for as long as your spirit meter allows you to. Given Tchia's world is pretty big and fast travel is extremely limited, covering long distances could be quite boring if you don't know what to do. ![]() The game will teach you how to use these magical powers as weapons but will not tell you that you can use them for other purposes as well. Tchia is no ordinary girl she possesses the ability to wield magical power, which will be her primary weapon against her enemies, in addition to her sling. So how do you find it when you don't know where to look? Well, it seems the game failed to provide you with the information that you must press the R3 button to bring up the compass and then follow it to the pinpointed location. If you pinpoint the activity you want to follow and exit the map, there will be no map and no onscreen indicator where the specific activity is. When you open the map, you can see the activities in that area, provided you've already scaled the viewpoint. It was also announced that the game will.
